Tree Houses for Swamp Dwellers, 2013 – Julia Morison
SCAPE Public Art
Consisting of 10 modular objects that read and function both as trees and as houses, Julia Morison’s Tree Houses for Swamp Dwellers can be engaged with and explored on many levels. Incorporating light and plant forms, Morison’s work creates spaces within itself for reflection and play. This significant legacy piece for Christchurch is also relocatable, able to be moved as the city rebuilds around it.
